Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Team Lead to join our DevX team.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of extensive experience in Python development, with a deep understanding of REST API frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
Additionally, proficiency in Terraform and AWS services is required.
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a strong grasp of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Python developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Architect, design, and develop scalable and maintainable Python applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Mentor junior team members and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.
Drive continuous improvement through innovation and automation.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates, client demos and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Proven expertise in building RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and ECS.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
