Description
The client is one of the largest global independent private equity fund administrators, administering over $300 billion of private capital on behalf of its clients with offices in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Stamford, Dallas, and Luxembourg. They offer private fund sponsors a best-in-class combination of people, processes, and technology, enabling fund sponsors to most effectively manage their operational infrastructure, financial reporting, and investor communications.
The client represents the most experienced and longest-tenured team in the private equity fund administration industry, with broad expertise across buyouts, funds of funds, real estate, energy, infrastructure, credit, co-investment, hybrid funds, feeder funds, venture capital, retail, and managed accounts.
The project aims to provide well-prepared and formatted analytic data for the customer.
Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Mulesoft Experience: Proven expertise and current knowledge in integrating systems using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform with CloudHub.
Demonstrable Experience: Candidate will have 3+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations using Mulesoft and API development, ideally within the financial services or similar regulated industries. - Industry Standard Integration Patterns: Expert knowledge of integration patterns such as API-led connectivity, service orchestration, and event-driven architectures.
- Object-oriented programming languages: Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and secure code.
- Experience with relational databases: SQL and Data Lake storage
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with API technologies: OpenAPI Specification, RAML, WSDL, XML Schema, and SOAP UI.
- Independent/Team Leadership: Experience working independently on large-scale Mulesoft projects or leading a team of developers, ensuring successful delivery of integration solutions.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Strong experience in building and implementing CI/CD pipelines for Anypoint integrations using tools such as ADO or Copado.
- Testing & Debugging: Proficiency in integration testing techniques for Mulesoft, with hands-on experience in unit testing, functional testing, and performance testing.
- Related System Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working with the Fenergo onboarding platform, Salesforce, Box.com, Inacct or HazelTree is highly desirable but not required.
- Mulesoft Certification (Preferred): Mulesoft Certified Developer or Architect level certification is a ‘nice to have’ but not a requirement for the role.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design creative and effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and providing updates to stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in fund management (preferred).
- Advanced English is mandatory

Job Responsibilities
- Integration Design and Development: Design and develop integrations between the Fenergo onboarding platform and downstream finance systems, ensuring the integrations are robust, cost effective and adhere to industry-standard integration patterns and Mulesoft best practices.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project architects, business analysts, to understand requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and implement CI/CD pipelines for Mulesoft Anypoint integrations, ensuring automated deployment, testing, and monitoring across the integration lifecycle.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute tests to validate integration solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with the business requirements.
- Documentation: Provide clear and concise documentation for all integration designs, development processes, and testing protocols to ensure effective communication across the team.
