Description

The customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps to improve providers’ productivity.

The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.

Requirements

Qualifications
· 1- 2 years of software engineering experience or sustaining team, or advanced help desk experience.
· Strong development and debugging skills.
· Experience with Visual C++, Windows and/or Win32 APIs.
· Experience with MacOS, WindowsOS and/or Linux. Willingness to learn the various operating systems.
· Experience with one or more of the programming languages utilized in the MAM solution: Java, Swift, Kotlin, C++. Willingness to learn and be exposed to other programming languages.
· Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high expectations.
· Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact well with both internal teams and external customers and partners.
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related degree.


Job Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues in Mobile Access Management features in the areas of security, authentication, mobile access and mobile healthcare workflow enablement. Our mobile products are used by thousands of clinicians all over the world.

The Sustaining Engineer is responsible for customer support escalations and the development of solutions for reported defects and security vulnerabilities in areas including clinician authentication, single-sign on and third party integrations to help ensure continued success with our product.

  • Assist QA in qualifying new vendor releases, including APIs, to determine ongoing compatibility with MAM.
  • Working in a scrum/Kanban team model, be responsible for analyzing possible solutions, scoping, planning, and delivering fixes.
  • Work with Mobile team managers and other technical leads to prioritize work and improve sustaining process.
  • Design and code unit and automated tests that allow manual testing to focus on high-risk areas.
  • Design, code and test mobile, client or server-side components in Java, Swift, Kotlin, C++ that help improve our customer experience.
