As a Lead Automation QA Engineer, you’ll be a key member of a team known for its hardworking nature in developing powerful software for high-tech medical devices. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably with robotic systems or similar hardware.
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and defining testing strategies.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with ROS2 (Robot Operating System) for simulation testing.
- Proficiency in Python for writing test scripts and automation.
- Familiarity with IA Robots is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate multi-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in English is required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and collaborators.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and drive the test strategy for robotic arm system testing, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
- Perform and coordinate manual and automated tests, including boundary testing, accuracy testing, speed movement testing, and obstacle avoidance testing.
- Apply ROS2 simulator for comprehensive robotic movement testing.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
- Prepare and review detailed test reports and documentation for each test scenario.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Coordinate testing efforts on Industrial Automation Robots (UR5e), ensuring system performance and compatibility.
- Mentor and guide the QA team, promoting standard methodologies and continuous improvements in testing processes.
