Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the development, review, and update of comprehensive business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery plans (DRPs) in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Ensure BCPs and DRPs align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Coordinate and conduct regular testing, drills, and exercises to validate the effectiveness of BCPs and DRPs.
Document test results, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact during business disruptions or disasters, coordinating response efforts and facilitating communication among relevant teams.
Implement incident response procedures outlined in BCPs and DRPs to minimize operational downtime and mitigate risks.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to enhance organizational resilience.
Develop and deliver training programs on BC/DR procedures, roles, and responsibilities for employees and stakeholders.
Promote awareness of BC/DR policies and procedures to ensure understanding and readiness across the organization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations related to BC/DR.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, conducting assessments, and addressing audit findings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master of Risk Management) preferred.
Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certifications preferred.
Minimum of 8+years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related roles, with a strong understanding of BC/DR planning methodologies and practices.
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing BCPs and DRPs within a complex organizational environment.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and lead cross-functional teams.
