Overview
The role reports to the Global GPS Leader and will be a key member of the GPS team.
This leader will focus on building a culture of continuous improvement ensuring efficient and consistent employee experience and delivering operational excellence and simplification across our Global People Team’s processes.
This role will lead efforts to define our HR support model and service portfolio providing tier level support to GL employees in the region as well as building global extensions.The Regional GPS Leader will be responsible for leading the front and back-office People operations for employees across the region. In addition to leading the team, this role will have responsibility for enabling our HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to shift greater focus on driving strategic agendas. The primary responsibility in the first year will be the implementation of an enhanced service delivery model and the build out of a local team seasoned at providing an amazing employee experience. The GPS team will set the standard for People Team operational excellence – globalizing, streamlining, and documenting key processes. We’re growing fast and need to enhance and improve our employee service touch points. We’re designing new ways to interact and provide stellar service to employees globally. Building a foundation for a consistent global experience with plans to leverage technology to get it done is in the works across all the People function arenas. We’re looking for leaders to take us to the next level of operational excellence, providing a path to showcase amazing service and an ongoing lens of how we’re doing on driving continual improvements. The role is ideal for a strong leader who is passionate about operational excellence and building a foundation to scale fast-paced growth and deliver a world-class GlobalLogic employee service experience.

Requirements

Qualifications
10 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
Demonstrable experience working within HR Operations, with capability to lead, develop and empower teams.
An understanding of operational excellence within HR Shared Services processes & practice.
Knowledge of HR functional policies and practices.
Demonstrated track record in standardizing/re-engineering HR processes to deliver growth foundation and scale.
Collaborative style and a standout colleague with a strong customer focus mind-set that focuses on employee experience and continuous improvement for all processes.
Demonstrated track record of handling partnerships with COEs.
Experience with optimally transitioning work to HR Shared Services.
Experience crafting performance indicators and setting targets using engaging presentation methods and tools.
Able to drive consensus among key stakeholders with diverse needs and interests.
Ability to manage a portfolio of projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities.
Strong communicator who can deliver impactful presentations to leadership.
Exposure to HR automation tools.


Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Lead a team to deliver services across the region by building an inclusive culture within the organization. Leveraging effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, and succession planning to build an engaged, diverse, impactful team.
Partner with team members and leadership to build a long-term shared services strategy.
Build a strong working partnership with HRBP, COEs and business functions.
Build and implement a communications strategy with HR partners to get alignment on cross-functional projects and increase customer service.
Communicate cross-functionally, connect and influence senior leaders on program initiatives, service metrics and opportunities for optimization.
Transition processes into GPS Shared Services. Own the end-to-end transition plan for new processes into GPS. Lead the team in partnering with HRBPs/COEs for training, shadowing, documentation, resources mapping. Use dashboards to report progress details, risks of ongoing transition status.
Measure success and leverage execution metrics. Focus on being a metrics driven organization. Accountable for the day-to-day performance metrics, ensuring clear SLA’s and deliverables align to effective and positive employee experience. Use metrics to demonstrate and communicate Shared Services value and transformation progress. Build and share reports/metrics/Dashboards that are meaningful to stakeholders.
Embed training & documentation practices into GPS development and scale. Responsible for ongoing training, and documentation for all processes and activities within GPS services and program initiatives.
Quality focus delivering on an internal quality assurance program using metrics to measure performance against SLA’s, volumes, customer satisfaction & quality.
