Description
Customer is one of the biggest companies on the market of home entertainment consumer electronics devices that strives to provide their clients with high-quality products and services.
The candidate will be responsible for the development of new build processes and improvements to the existing flows.
Requirements
Must have:
- Overall 2+ years of experience in Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Build & Release Automation (large systems automation).
- Strong experience with Linux OS, Bash, Python sсripting.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with makefiles, cmake, bazel, autoconf, libtool, docker.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery tools (like Jenkins, GitHub) and integration between these services.
- Experience with Git/Gerrit, Git submodules.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with C/C++ would be an advantage.
- Contribution to various open source projects will be a Plus
- Experience with Yocto or OpenEmbedded build framework
Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the definition and execution of the Continuous Integration/Delivery strategy for the project
- Plan, develop and implement Continuous Integration/Delivery automation
- Contribute to the development of the CI/CD framework and scripts
- Be responsible for maintenance of the various CI systems (Jenkins, GitHub)
- Release activities: take part in supporting release of the product to the internal customers.
