Description:

As a Python Developer – Delivery Consultant, you’ll be integral to our client facing delivery teams, working with clients to design and build their technology enabled cloud solutions. 

Requirements:

Looking for someone with a general interest in technology and problem-solving; someone diligent and thoughtful. It would be helpful to have experience/expertise in the following:

• Python
• Django
• Domain modelling
• HTTP and REST APIs
• Writing robust and fault-tolerant software
• Celery and async processing
• Postgres and AWS 

On the server-side, mainly use Python. Most of websites are powered by Django and the Django-REST-framework. Also use Pandas, Numpy and Jupyter for analysis and forecasting, plus Celery, RabbitMQ, SQS and Airflow for background processing.
Use AWS heavily, employing most of the “Hashistack” (eg Packer, Consul, Terraform) as part of a continuous deployment pipeline. See, for example, Django, ELB health checks and continuous delivery.
Client-side, use React, Redux and SASS; our mobile apps are built using React Native.


Job Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for providing technical thought leadership on client engagements.
• You will actively contribute to development team activities and technical solutions where strong attention to detail is required.
• You will be hands on in projects, taking a lead in the design and development of solutions as well as providing technical guidance and validation to the wider team.
• You will be responsible for stakeholder management, building client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• You will need to have a thirst to grow and mentor those that you work with. People come first and it’s important to foster the long term progression of the team.
