Description:
GlobalLogic is inviting a senior leader to join its Communication Delivery Unit. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the success and growth of our business in the telecommunications domain, where we design and develop cutting-edge solutions for our customers. The main focus will be towards one of our key clients, which is a world-leading provider of 5G telecom solutions, software and services to CSPs all over the globe.
We want you to own customer engagement activities from ideation to architecture design, in collaboration with our engineering teams as well as various stakeholders in the client’s organisation. You will not only play a key part in expanding this division at Globallogic but also shape the technological landscape in telecom by designing outstanding solutions for our customers’ current and future needs.
Requirements:
Must-have skills and experiences:
- Solid knowledge of 5G and 4G RAN (Radio Access Network) domain
- Combination of experience in at least two of these areas: Product Management, System Management, Architecture, People Management
- Excellent skills in communicating, leading, influencing, building networks and relationships
- Good understanding of standards: ETSI, 3GPP, IETF, CNCF, TMFORUM, MEF-LSO
- Fluent language proficiency in English
Nice-to-have knowledge and experiences which would give an additional advantage:
- Solid track record in a customer facing technical role like Technical Pre-Sales, Solution Architect, Sales Engineer
- Experience with O-RAN (Open RAN) architecture implementation, migration from legacy technologies
- Knowledge of cloud native principles and cloud platforms
- Prior experience with RAN migration to Cloud/COTS hardware
- Hands-on experience in designing and creating technical proposals, solution descriptions and other artifacts

Job Responsibilities:
- Be a leader within pre-sales engagements, consulting various stakeholders on solutions
- Design and iterate solution architectures in the process, adjusting to shifting needs and insights in the domain
- Guide projects in the Radio Access Network domain from legacy to the latest cloud-native, ORAN and 5G advanced solutions
- Proactively support and closely collaborate with our account management / business unit teams
- Lead proposals preparation with regards to technical and commercial aspects.
- Support with technical cost estimations and solution breakdown.
- Present project proposals to client stakeholders and act as the main point of contact for further discussions.
- Participate in workshops and network with engagement teams across locations worldwide
- Lead Risk & Impact Analysis for each solution implementation, and make recommendations on solution evolution.
- Share and transfer knowledge, and mentor other team members.
- Interact with other parts of the project ecosystem, incl. 3rd Party suppliers, various Delivery and Business units.
