Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, with specific expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Actuator, Spring Data, MongoDB, or similar NoSQL databases.
• Strong skills in Java and familiarity with Confluent Kafka, Angular, Node, and Aurelia for UI development.
• Proficient in MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, understanding database management and operations.
• Possess excellent communication skills in English, essential for discussing technical requirements, presenting design and feature demos in sprints, and effectively conveying developed solutions to stakeholders during scrum activities.
• Proficient in developing and testing APIs, with practical experience using tools like POSTMAN.
• Comfortable using IDEs such as VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA for software development.
• Experienced with version control systems.
• Capable of working in a high-performance, agile scrum environment, actively contributing to various projects and participating in development sprints.
• Able to establish and manage system performance metrics (Datadog), focusing on rapid issue detection and effective problem resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance Java services for real-time execution system, focusing on the high-speed, low-latency ingestion and processing of digital advertisement data to power the measurement system.
• Design and develop improvements for Java services using SPRING and MongoDB, ensuring the system effectively measures the impact of advertising campaigns.
• Support and maintain user interfaces (Angular & Aurelia) for campaign configuration, catering to internal departmental needs, and ensuring smooth operation and user experience.
• Administer MongoDB by creating new collections and projects, managing schemas, and monitoring system performance. Take responsibility for resolving performance issues, including liaising with vendors for support, to ensure optimal functioning of execution system and its database components.
• Collaborate effectively across multiple departments, including operations and product management, to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and design enhancements within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Enhance and support RESTful APIs that serve data to consumers, focusing on facilitating efficient analytical reporting and ensuring seamless integration with MongoDB for optimal data accessibility and accuracy.
• Provide support and continuous enhancement for common libraries utilized by digital teams, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness in aligning with evolving project needs and technology standards.
