Description
A Tier-1 automotive software company, our client, seeks a comprehensive solution to enhance their project planning and execution capabilities.
The desired tool must possess robust functionalities for real-time data status tracking across all projects, coupled with advanced data visualization features. Furthermore, the solution is required to facilitate integration with existing third-party software applications like CoreALM (similar to Jira), Doors, some in-house tools, etc. Existing BI tools (PowerBI, Quick Sight and Tableau) are considered.
Discovery phase as first stage of the project, next phase – implementation.
Expected outcomes:
- prepared and well-defined requirements
- solution architecture, SW diagram
- Epic + Features backlog
- technical solution of integration with third-party BI tools.
Requirements
MUST have:
- MS/BS Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years prior working experience in a leading role on the project (Lead engineer or Arch or Function Owner)
- Experience with Python + scripting
- Experience with BI tools
- Experience with Requirements Management tools
- Experience with SW development tools like Git, Gerrit, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins etc.
- Ability to work in multi-site, multi-cultural teams (DE, FR, Cairo and Spain)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong English since effective communication is key in success of this project
NICE to have:
- Any experience with Automotive domain
- Experience with full-lifecycle embedded product development
- Knowledge of main architectural principles and different software architectures
- ETL pipeline exp.
Job responsibilities
- Defining the project functionalities and requirements according to the customer feature requests
- Define, document and communicate solution architectural design
- Provide technical leadership and decision making to guide the project’s software development team
- Drive technical communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Close cooperation with customer on various topics
- Exploring options of using third-party BI tools (PowerBI, Quick Sight and Tableau)
- Exploring subscriptions options
