Description:
Join GlobalLogic, to be a valid part of the team working on a huge software project for the world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules e.g. to the automotive, healthcare and logistics industries. Through our engagement, we contribute to our customer in developing the end-user modules’ firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the newest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as performing analysis and estimations of the customer requirements
Requirements:
Shift Timing : 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM
Mandatory Skill : BI Reporting Tools(Power BI Preferred), Enterprise Data WareHouse (EWD), Data management & Platform Reporting, Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
THE ROLE:
Strategic Leadership: Guide the strategy and execution of Platform Reporting and Data initiatives for the EDW and Ignite Insights platform, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
Operational Excellence: Lead efforts to enhance reporting capabilities and data accuracy, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of users across the organization.
Technology Proficiency: Leverage your knowledge of reporting tools, data processing technologies, and data pipeline management to ensure that our solutions are robust and scalable.
Job Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Execution of Engineering Initiatives: Work closely with the Engineering team to execute initiatives that have been started, ensuring they align with the overall product strategy and deliver the intended outcomes. Provide product insights on the potential impact
of these initiatives to ensure they meet business objectives.
Platform Reporting and Data Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of reporting and data solutions for the EDW and Ignite Insights platform, ensuring that these tools meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and data teams to develop and deliver reporting and data solutions. Your role will be critical in bridging the gap between technical execution and product strategy.
Data-driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and reporting tools to monitor platform performance and data accuracy. Develop and track key metrics to ensure that our reporting solutions provide actionable insights and meet business needs.
Data Pipeline Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize data pipelines and ensure that data flows efficiently through the EDW and Insights platform. Work with engineering teams to implement improvements and resolve any data-related issues.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of data engineers and BI specialists fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure your team has the skills and tools needed to deliver high-quality reporting and data solutions. Compliance and Security Awareness: Ensure all reporting and data solutions comply with relevant regulations, including SOX, PCI, and ISO. Work closely with security teams to ensure that data is handled securely. Stakeholder Communication: Present reporting and data strategies to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and communicating the value of data-driven decision-making to stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Educational Background: A Engineering degree in a technical field such as computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
Professional Experience: 8 to 10 years of professional experience in technical product management or data platform operations, with a focus on reporting and data
solutions.
Technical Skills: Experience with reporting tools, data processing technologies, and data pipeline optimization. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure, Oracle, AWS)
and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, with a focus on delivering high- quality reporting and data solutions.
