Description:
The project is within the Energy domain. We are working on a product for Power Grids control at very high-scale (e.g. country-wide systems). This is a huge and complex solution that contains both newly developed anf legasy features. Most of the software is written in C#, with a UI implemented with WPF.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer in Test, who will demonstrate their awareness and willing to understand a large and complicated solution for Power Grid automation: this willing is cruicial for effective contribution to further development of the solution.
Generic requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards, best practices and methodologies
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the deliverable created during the development lifecycle
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• min. 4 years’ experience as a software engineer in test.
• Experience in test automation for desktop application will be addition asset
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. creating pipelines in Azure DevOps, Jenkins or TeamCity)
Software Skills
• Object oriented programming, preferred C# (WPF, experience with FlaUI/TestStack.White nice to have)
• Experience with using test framework like NUnit, MS Test or xUnit
• SQL
• Git
• Script languages: powershell, batch, bash
• WindowsLinux
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and integrate automated tests.
- Proactively contribute to activities of the project team, including planning, scrum ceremonies, regular communication with teammates.
- Proactively learn from colleagues and also share your own knowledge with them.
- It should be noted that previously the project relied mostly on manual testing, and test automation is a new area for this team, so much of it will have to be built from scratch.
