Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in transitioning business-critical APIs to a new developer portal designed for both internal and external use. This portal will empower globally-distributed teams and enterprise customers to ship code faster, achieve cost savings, and reach new audiences. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our digital transformation efforts, focusing on API-first methodologies and delivering innovative features and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in tools such as TOSCA, Playwright, Cypress, UFT, Selenium, or Katalon.
- Experience in Automated Visual Testing.
- Familiarity with REST, OpenAPI Spec, Swagger, SOAP, and WSDL standards.
- Proficiency with SQL and No-SQL databases.
- Experience with version control tools like Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in test automation framework and tool development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or C#.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designed and built automated test frameworks and test suites for various testing cycles.
- Enhance existing automation frameworks to streamline release processes and feature validation.
- Collaborate with development teams and QA peers to identify automation opportunities and prioritize tasks.
- Own the development, execution, and reporting of automation scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, and UAT test execution across multiple platforms including web and mobile.
- Conduct and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans for functional and non-functional testing.
- Identify testable requirements and prepare test strategies.
Develop quality assurance strategies and organize phased testing with QA engineers.
Track and document bugs through resolution.
