As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in transforming our platform infrastructure by enhancing our technical capabilities and improving customer service. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future direction of our platform and applications through rigorous quality assurance practices.

Requirements

• Proficient in manual and automated testing, with a strong background in tools like Jenkins, and CircleCI, and experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Extensive experience with test case design and bug-tracking systems such as Jira.

• Demonstrated experience in an Agile development environment and familiarity with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) processes.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, and PHP is a plus.

• Experience with API and integration testing is crucial, as these are significant activities at ThirdBridge

 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex challenges under pressure.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• A proactive approach to continuous learning and development.

• ISTQB certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and ensure software solutions are aligned with business goals.

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).

• Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to promote QA best practices and improve integration testing across the lifecycle.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and lead by example to promote a culture of excellence in a supportive environment.

• Analyze current technologies used within the company and develop steps and processes to improve testing procedures and overall software quality.
