Description:
As Engineer you will join the team in Krakow, working closely with colleagues from Switzerland. With excellent software engineering skills and can-do culture you will be a part of our global group developing Network Management System for Wired Communication.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in backend or frontend software development with a degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or IT.
Strong experience in the Kotlin and Java ecosystem (Spring framework experience is a plus).
Proficiency in developing applications using TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS with style pre-processors.
Experience with React or similar frameworks; familiarity with the JavaScript ecosystem (Vite, Node, Vitest, etc.).
Solid knowledge of application testing frameworks, Linux, Docker, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL).
ECST (Additional):
Experience with C#, .NET, Blazor.
Deployment of C# applications on Windows and Linux.
Practical experience in creating legacy C# frontends (GTK+, WPF, Silverlight).
Strong skills in code development and architecture for legacy systems (refactoring, maintenance, troubleshooting).
ALS (Additional to Senior Backend Developer Requirements):
Knowledge of SNMP and XMLRPC protocols.
Nice-to-have: Experience integrating SNMP devices, including lab setup for third-party device integration.
Nice-to-have: JavaScript execution support in Java.
Proficiency with Spring / JEE (Java Enterprise patterns).
Solid experience in maintaining and enhancing legacy systems (refactoring, troubleshooting, and cleanup).
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive code architecture evolution
- Implement software solutions that are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
- Cooperate with product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize software features and requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, quality & bestpractices.
