Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our responsibilities and help enhance our cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes. Our successful candidate will have a strong background in Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD, ensuring detailed integration and deployment of applications.

Our client specializes in providing sales, marketing, and business solutions to manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers based in California, USA.

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be available to work until 3:00 PM CST (10-00 pm CET) to ensure alignment with team schedules and business operations.

• Confirmed experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role for at least 4 years
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based infrastructure
• Proficiency in Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of supervising and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Understanding of security standards and compliance guidelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

NICE TO HAVE:

• Certifications in Azure (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104) or related technologies
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and security protocols

 

Job responsibilities

• Architect and implement robust cloud solutions on Azure DevOps to enhance system efficiency and scalability
• Design, build, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines for detailed software delivery
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure on Azure using Terraform to ensure infrastructure consistency and repeatability
• Set up and handle crucial DevOps tools and services, including:
• Source Control Management (SCM): GitHub
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps or equivalent experience
• Artifact Repository: Azure Artifacts
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
• Identity & Access Management: Azure AD
• Application Management: Ensuring smooth application deployment and performance
• Monitoring & Observability: Datadog for real-time insights
• Log Aggregation & Querying: Datadog, Dataset, Azure Monitoring
• Data Ingestion Pipelines: Azure Functions, Databricks
• Workflow Orchestration: Databricks, Airflow
• Data Analysis & Processing: Databricks
• Cost Optimization & Management: Azure Billing, cost analysis, and efficiency improvements
