Description:
Our client is a leading telecommunications and internet service provider based in Japan, offering a range of innovative solutions including network services, cloud computing and security solutions to businesses and individuals. By leveraging the technological expertise gained through providing Internet connectivity services, the company has expanded its business portfolio as a total solutions provider, offering outsourcing services that include cloud computing, Wide-Area Network (WAN) services, systems integration services, and more.
Moving all information online has necessitated expanding their cloud service capabilities to remain competitive with other leading market players in this field. A set of our projects will focus on extending these services‘ capabilities and functionalities, including the development of new modules and more, to meet this demand.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of commercial experience as Automation Engineer;
- Strong knowledge and experience with Python and Robot Framework;
- Good experience in building automated functional regression test frameworks and suites;
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Google or Azure;
- Experience of load and performance testing (e.g. using Gatling, JMeter, etc.);
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar;
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, to talk about your work with both technical and non-technical people.
Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled AQA Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing a Key Management Service and a Logging System to enhance our cloud service capabilities, as well us extending the capabilities of other existing services.
You will work in close collaboration with the developers through the full development cycle to ensure that quality is instilled as early as possible and carried through to the final live product. Ensuring that all products meet customer’s functional requirements and perform to internal and external SLAs.
Some of your duties will include
- Create, maintain and execute automated tests to support agile software development and in line with the automation strategy.
- Setup and follow best practices of the QA team and assist in driving the QA strategy.
- Run exploratory and usability tests using various testing tools.
- Help influence developers on how they approach testing, guiding design of development test automation suites.
- Analyse new releases to create appropriate testing plans.
