Description:
Our client is on a daring mission to build the first connected biking platform with an entirely new breed of products and services on top of it – all designed to drive digital business and the future of biking.
As part of our B2C strategy, the Digital Business department is working on a B2C portfolio like our eBike Flow app for Android and iOS but web portals for cyclists as well.
As part of our B2B strategy, the Digital Business department is working on a B2B portfolio (web portals and frameworks for those portals) to enable the cooperation with our partners, especially the OEMs and the IBDs.
The WEB Team is an essential enabler for all our Frontend development topics, with the mission to ensure developers at Bosch eBike have a great experience creating our Web products and our customers have a great experience using them. Their main focus is to provide the best web experiences for internal and external customers. The WEB Team is supported by the DesignOps team, another enabler with UX / UI Designers
to enable UX and UI topics at EB.
In this project people work together, depending on their scope of work, in different distributed, interdisciplinary agile teams (e.g. the WEB Team) that have the E2E responsibility for their features / services. Jira is the base for tracking story tickets and its tasks. Externals work according to the pull-principle.
Requirements:
In order to have a fast transition into the existing project we expect the following expertise in-short:
• Deep understanding of CSS, HTML and modern javascript with focus on accessibility.
• Familiar with typical software development tools like: git, yarn, browser dev tools.
• Some experience with full stack development: no-SQL, SQL databases, CI/CD toolchain, bash/zsh.
• Experience with development of production, client-facing products: 4+
• Experience with working in a distributed, large teams environment is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
• Writing Unit Tests and extending the code test coverage
• Code Reviews for WEB Team related Pull Requests
• Maintenance
• Bugfixing
• Participation in Scrum meetings and live demo sessions related to the work packages
• Participation in PI Planning meetings as part of our SAFe development process in
order to plan and prioritize work packages and its TODOs
