We are seeking an experienced and motivated senior Sales Leader to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing transformational, complex deals in the space where GlobalLogic operates, for the Financial Services and Insurance industry vertical. This role requires a dynamic seller who has excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills and a deep understanding of select industries. The role will be tasked with rapid business expansion in Europe within the Financial Services and Insurance industry and target accounts, responsible for growth. This role requires extensive CxOs level relationship building and executive connections, and a focus on profitable revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the Managing Director UK, Ireland, and Emerging Markets, this VP role has overall accountability for identifying, owning, and driving customer revenue and growth across the portfolio to enable growth of the overall GlobalLogic European Financial Services and Insurance Business


Job Responsibilities:

Establish and execute sales strategies and plans across the European and specifically, DACH Financial Services and Insurance market, including go-to-market approach, account plans, client/prospect engagement and sales motions

Rapidly build a strong understanding of GlobalLogic’s pre-sales/solutioning capabilities, delivery capabilities and service offerings, to drive speedy go-to-market, build high quality pipeline and drive wins

Identify/shape, pursue and win strategic, transformational opportunities in the space where GlobalLogic operates.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans and account plans to achieve revenue targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key client/prospect decision-makers and stakeholders. Build and nurture trusted relationships across client CxO leaders

Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful solutioning, pursuit and delivery of solutions.

Work closely with pre-sales and delivery management to represent the full opportunity-to-order Sales life cycle: lead management, qualification for the bid/financing, solutioning and staffing, client management, satisfaction and execution governance

Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Manage overall sales process, forecasting and sales funnel management. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Provide leadership for cross-departmental teams on all contract renewals, negotiations, and client proposals

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, other Hitachi Group OpCos and external partners, to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive profitable sales growth.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects, leveraging these connections to enhance sales opportunities and expand market reach.

 

Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in shaping, leading and winning large business deals, with a focus on transformational transactions in the product engineering, operations, quality and data engineering space.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and growing businesses profitably.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Proven ability to build trusted and strategic customer relationships.

Strong commercial skills and experience including new business development, negotiating, selling, process, pricing, costing, discount structures, terms and conditions, sales strategy development, execution, and sales proposal development.

Experience in authoring complex proposals; experience in negotiating master service contracts and long-term agreements.

The individual will have strong business acumen to plan business development, business communication skills to be involved in strategic discussions, technical background to facilitate solutions design, operational excellence to execute and work with internal teams, and excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders.

Moreover, the candidate must be highly collaborative, innovative, customer-centric and bring a structured approach.

Deep domain knowledge of the European FInancial Services and Insurance markets

Proven record in structuring complex deals in digital and data engineering space with eco-system partners such as AWS, Google, Microsoft as well as Banking and Insurance ISVs

Results-driven, high energy, self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
Understanding of relevant/adjacent digital technologies and competitor’s services
