A customer is a healthcare IT security company. It provides healthcare companies with a platform that addresses critical compliance and security challenges and helps to improve providers’ productivity.

The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.

Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Mastering all DevOps IaC and CI-CD pipeline tools, including their implementation, optimization, and support.
• Working with Agile development teams to improve code quality and delivery velocity.
• Be aware of new technology trends and provide technical guidance for project delivery and efficient operational services.
• Participating in the design of future cloud environments as we plan for scale and growth.
• Auditing the security of the Client Cloud/SaaS hosting environment and processes.
• Ensuring changes to the production environments are documented, tested, and approved.
• Collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders to support the delivery of regular software updates while maintaining high availability.

Job responsibilities

Required:

• 3 years experience working in the Software Development field.
• Strong communication Skills.
• Very strong Linux Skills.
• Very strong understanding of Git and GitOps.
• Has used a scripting language like Python/Bash as part of their previous work experience.
• Is comfortable with at least one programming (Java or C# Preferred).
• Experience with Docker and container hosting technology such as K8s. (Experience with Helm Preferred)
• Experience with AWS Technologies such as EKS/ECS and RDS.
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

Desirable:

• Experience with Crossplane.
• The ability to create infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Some experience with SpringBoot.
• Working knowledge of server, networking, operating system, database, and application performance management, monitoring and alerting system, load balancing, and security systems.
