Description

Our client has an excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer who is looking to join a team following the DevOps practice that’s committed to working on cutting edge technology, and having fun while doing it.

You will maintain business-critical systems used to track hundreds of millions of dollars of media spend per year supporting some of the world’s largest online brands. You would be joining a tight-knit development team and will be working alongside other developers and product managers to solve complex and interesting technical problems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Proven professional Test Automation experience
• Knowledge of Testing Best Practices.
• Experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, or other BDD testing tools.
• Experience writing automated tests for UI and API testing using Playwright.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of mocking objects for testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Job responsibilities

Work with product owners and engineering teams to create Infrastructure as Code modules, application build and deployment pipelines for our products

Assist with setting up monitoring and alerting capabilities for the applications, and provide solutions to any problems that may arise

You have a proven track record of:

• Automate things as much as possible.
• Adapting to situations and remaining positive.
• Designing and implementing robust automated test frameworks for both UI and API layers.
• Utilizing BDD tools like Cucumber and Gherkin to drive collaboration between QA, development, and product teams.
• Writing efficient and maintainable automated test scripts using Java and modern testing libraries.
• Working in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Effectively identifying bugs early in the development cycle, reducing regression issues and improving product quality.
• Maintaining high test coverage and integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows.

You can demonstrate the ability to:

• Develop scalable and reusable test automation suites that support fast feedback and continuous integration.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Mock and stub external services to isolate system components and enable focused testing
• Analyze and debug test failures, triage issues, and provide detailed documentation for efficient resolution.
• Optimize test execution time and stability by applying test data management and test parallelization strategies.
• Contribute to QA process improvements and advocate for quality across the engineering organization.
