Description

We are partnering with a global leader in medical devices delivering to market the first WEB version solution to control an innovative external fixator developed, designed for the treatment of complex limb deformities and fractures. This system features a pre-assembled unit with six adjustable struts that can be easily unfolded and attached to rings without the need for tools, streamlining the surgical process. The adjustable struts cover a wide range of lengths, reducing the need for intraoperative strut changes. Additionally, the system is complemented by the Deformity Analysis & Correction Software (DACS), which assists surgeons in creating precise correction plans using patient radiographs.

The Team will deliver software engineering services for the WEB application developed by Client and which is planned to be released to the end clients use. Initial effort of the GlobalLogic team will be applied on getting an enhanced understanding of the current product software, its current state including all bugs and anomalies. Scope of the services will focus on post launch technical support and maintenance work only. It will include analysis and bug fixes, patches, and refactoring based upon mutually agreed areas.

Scope of the services will be extended per mutual written agreement of the Parties on next stages. The team will be part (an extension) of the Client’s software development and verification team and will work in accordance with the Client’s software development and testing processes, design controls, and QMS requirements. All Services will be executed explicitly as directed by the Client.The client will engage GlobalLogic as required to perform requested activities.

Requirements

– At least 6-8 years of experience in .NET, including Angular and AWS;

– Strong knowledge with REST APIs, cloud/deployment practices, and version control systems (Git);

– Good knowledge of application design principles, unit testing and integration testing;

– Skilled with DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred);

– Good knowledge with monitoing tools;

– Readiness to work as full stack engineer with a wide stack of technologies;

– Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering polished, user-friendly experiences. At least upper-intermediate English level.

 

Job responsibilities

GlobalLogic is starting the cooperation with new client in healthcare domain and is now looking for a talented Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help to perform engineering services. During the performance of Services, GlobalLogic shall:

– Follow software development life cycle defined by Client;

– Coordinate with co-developers, product owners and send regular updates;

– Define the governance structure, communication and collaboration channels at GlobalLogic side;

– Act as a full-stack developer, proficiently handling both front-end and back-end development tasks as required. Write well-designed, efficient server-side and client-side code by using the best software development practices;

– Maintain relevant engineering documentation (source code comments, build and execution instructions, architectural notes, test protocols, etc.) within the clients systems, which will require GlobalLogic to have access to those tools;

– Inform about identified areas and opportunities for improvements;

– Provide status updates as requested by Client, attend meetings as requested by Client;

– Keep tracking key performance indicators agreed between Client and GlobalLogic;

– Services will be executed in an iterative manner. For each iteration/sprint, Client will provide or develop jointly with the Team: Scope of work based on the project requirements (functional and non-functional specifications) or defects backlog; Acceptance criteria to be used to verify sprint requirements; Any leftovers from previous sprints (tasks that remained unfinished or did not pass full acceptance for any reason) will be handled by the Team on T&M basis in subsequent sprints based on product development roadmap and priorities set by Client.
