Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with a passion for Kubernetes and AWS? GlobalLogic is looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer (AWS+EKS) to join our dynamic team and support our client in the Insurance portfolio. Requirements

• Expert in AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service
• Strong experience of AWS systems and services including EKS, ECR, IAM, Secrets Manager, ACM
• Experience of configuring EKS with additional components including ingress integrations with AWS ELB, certificate management and IAM integration
• Expert Terraform knowledge and experience in building modules for solutions with EKS
• Understanding of Observability patterns for EKS and enabling these in solution delivery
• High level knowledge of RDS and configuring MSSQL on RDS
• Ability to build integrations that can action deployments from GitHub Actions via REST API integrations with target systems
• Understanding and practical experience of using common authentication mechanisms for interacting with REST API’s i.e. OAuth

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure to meet business requirements and performance goals.
• Develop and manage deployment automation pipelines and processes to ensure rapid, reliable, and secure delivery of software and infrastructure.
• Create and manage AWS DevOps using tools like Terraform, building CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain the existing codebase while integrating new functionalities and adapting best standards.
• Document standard operating procedures meticulously.
• Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the management team.
