Software Engineer (C/C++, Go) – 6-Month Contract – Remote (UK) | GlobalLogic

Are you an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in C/C++, Go, and Kubernetes? GlobalLogic is seeking skilled professionals to join our team on a 6-month contract, working remotely within the UK.

 

About the Role:

You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining Storage features for our client’s Connected Cloud solution. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, microservices, and storage solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Technologies:

• C++/Go
• Kubernetes & Istio
• Service Mesh (Istio/Envoy)
• Microservices Architecture

 

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ programming language.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable C++ applications.
• Work within a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Develop and deploy applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of engineering best practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud-native technologies and C++ development.
