This platform is at the heart of a next-generation surgical experience – designed to connect data, devices, and teams. The current release includes tools for surgical video management, telepresence, and case planning, already rolled out in select hospitals.

In this role, you’ll:
– Contribute to the architecture and optimization of cloud infrastructure on AWS
– Enable seamless data flow and system scalability across microservices
– Help build a secure, resilient, and compliant environment for critical healthcare applications
– Support the future launch of a developer platform and digital health solution marketplace

Requirements

• Extensive experience in system integration and network architecture, particularly with complex, high-performance environments.
• Solid understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and network design principles.
• Some programming experience (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar), though no active coding is required in the role.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance tuning.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network requirements are met and integrated effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Experience in cloud-based networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and system integration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex networking concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

 

Job responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of networking solutions and system integrations to support large-scale, high-performance applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate network infrastructure with enterprise applications, ensuring seamless communication and optimal performance.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex network-related issues across various environments.
• Guide the development and integration of network management tools, optimizing performance and reliability across the system.
• Ensure that network security protocols and industry best practices are adhered to throughout the design and implementation phases.
• Collaborate with application developers to ensure networking features are efficiently integrated within applications.
• Oversee the deployment of system integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
• Offer technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers, assisting with networking concepts, integration strategies, and troubleshooting.
• Continuously evaluate and suggest improvements for network infrastructure and system integration processes to enhance performance and scalability.
