This platform is at the heart of a next-generation surgical experience – designed to connect data, devices, and teams. The current release includes tools for surgical video management, telepresence, and case planning, already rolled out in select hospitals.

In this role, you’ll:
– Contribute to the architecture and optimization of cloud infrastructure on AWS
– Enable seamless data flow and system scalability across microservices
– Help build a secure, resilient, and compliant environment for critical healthcare applications
– Support the future launch of a developer platform and digital health solution marketplace

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, ECS, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices such as continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and automation.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native applications.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and infrastructure management.
  • Ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant systems in the AWS cloud.
  • Strong experience in managing AWS security best practices and compliance across cloud infrastructure.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud and DevOps issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with development and operations teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AWS infrastructure to support scalable, high-performance cloud environments.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment, ensuring efficient and automated workflows.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices within cloud-based applications and services.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices for AWS security, performance optimization, and cost management.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain AWS services and cloud infrastructure, ensuring uptime, availability, and resilience.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them improve their DevOps skills and AWS expertise.
  • Stay updated on the latest AWS tools, services, and DevOps trends to ensure the use of innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, automation of processes, and continuous improvement of DevOps workflows.
