Description:
Our individual contributors are working on a scalable surgical planning offering that can support cloud and local network customer deployments, support both Client’s and competitor diagnostic devices and send surgical plans to Client’s surgical equipment.
The product we are working on provides ophthalmology planning capabilities and clinical decision support using measurements derived from diagnostic equipment like biometers, Keratometers/topographers, Retinal Optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems and Wavefront aberrometers. This sub-system follows a web-application cloud microservices architecture.
Requirements:
• Strong expertise in Spring/SpringBoot
• Comfortable working in a distributed team of developers under the client supervision.
• Cloud platforms (AWS) and Microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of software engineering concepts including multi-threading and concurrency, data structures, memory management as well as client-server and microservices architectures.
• Understanding of OWASP security principles, understanding accessibility, and security compliance
• Container and Virtualization technologies (VM, Docker, Kubernates).
• Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Chef, Ansible).
• RDBMS and NoSQL storage engines (PostgreSQL, Elastic Search).
• Experience with source control, Git, and Jenkins (Pipelines, Boards, Repos)
• Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Development, DevOps, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies, Unit testing and API automation integration testing
• Design Documentation and API specification
English: B1 or better (both writing and speaking)
Would be a big plus:
• Experience working with BDD scenarios
• Experience in test case development (functional tests)
• Understanding of QA approaches, test types, levels. Understaning of different testing techniques is a big advantage
Job Responsibilities:
– Develop new microservices and APIs, support existing infrastructure;
– Work in close connection with customer engineering team;
– Test case development (BDD);
– Parcticipating in architecture design;
