Description:
Our project is a robotic-assisted surgical system which is a master-slave, software-controlled electromechanical system designed for surgeons to perform telerobotic minimally invasive surgery. Our Client is a global leader in medical technology. It designs, develops, manufactures, installs, services, distributes and markets a wide variety of medical devices. GlobalLogic is taking part in the creation of innovative surgical products and services that focus on obesity and diseases and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, lung, abdominal wall, pelvic region, and head and neck.
Requirements:
Required skills
- 8+ years of experience in software development. Professional in C++.
- Expert understanding of the software development process and the corresponding V&V phases.
- Exposure to technical documentation such as – Test Specification/Test Design/Test Cases etc.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Basic Test Automation skills.
- Experience in embedded software.
- Experience in requirements analysis and functional tests/black-box derived from requirements
- RTOS/Windows/Linux-based development
- Knowledge of Version Control System
- Experience with Python, C
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the regulated software development industry preferably medical technology.
- Basic estimation, planning and reporting skills.
- ISTQB certified tester
- Experience with requirements management tools(e.g. Jama/Polarion) and knowledge of requirements traceability.
- Familiar with Agile SW Development practices.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in verification of the Robotic-Assisted Surgery system. Work closely with developers. Analyze requirements, create test case code. Collaborate with a distributed team. Communicate with software developers and testers on the customer side. Strictly follow a formal process.
