Description:
Inviting Lead/Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a growing account in the medical devices industry domain. Our client is the global leader company of healthcare solutions, which contributes to human welfare by application of biomedical engineering in the research, design, manufacture, and sale of instruments or appliances that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life for people around the world.
Our team is focusing on designing, developing, and testing embedded software for medical devices, where the software has strong restrictions for safety and quality, power management, and memory usage.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with C++
- Experience working with gRPC or similar protocol
- Experience with embedded Linux like Yocto or PetaLinux
- Experience with multiprocessing/multithreading
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, OOP principles, SOLID
- Experience with Git.
- Deep experience in designing and executing unit & integration tests that validate interactions between components.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of modern development patterns.
- Good analytical skills, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-organized personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- English level: Upper intermediate.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for developing a gRPC server interface for a medical device
- Implement new features according to the requirements
- Conduct refactoring to improve application performance, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards, bring tech improvements, and optimize existing flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the system.
- Write unit & integration tests.
- Conduct code reviews
- Work closely with Architects and System Engineering teammates ensuring system architectures align with the intended architecture.
- Apply Agile development principles to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in architecture design and technology decisions comprising both in-house built and 3rd party software solutions.
