Description:
Client is a leading global Contract Research Organization (CRO) that provides Phase I-IV clinical trial management, market access, and technology solutions2 with over 30 years of experience.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Power BI and .NET frameworks.
- Proven leadership experience, including leading small to mid-sized engineering teams.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Power BI and report/dashboard design.
- Proficiency in backend development using C# and .NET (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET).
- Experience integrating BI solutions with applications and external data sources.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical skills and experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate across departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to drive actionable business insights.
- Architect and develop robust backend applications using .NET frameworks to support business processes and data operations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Manager, Data Engineers, and Product Owners, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead a team of developers and BI engineers, ensuring alignment on technical direction, timelines, and quality standards.
- Implement data integration and transformation solutions between systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Guide the team in adopting industry best practices, including clean code principles, modular design, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across both BI and application development domains.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks in Power BI, .NET, and the BI/Analytics ecosystem.
