Hiring for Scrum Master/ Agile Coach

Requirements

External Expectations
Experts in team agile coaching and training
Capable of teaching how to perform the scrum master role
Capable of teaching existing scrum masters how to become Agile coaches with 1: many teams ratios
Can teach team and value stream level agile trainings such as feature writing, relative estimation, capacity planning techniques, etc.
Experts in Agile tooling (JIRA, Aha!, etc)
Emotion Qutied (or EQ), supporting collaboration with engineering leads and teams

Internal Expectations
Support the implementation of agile methods such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban
Spread an agile mindset in the team
Coach the team, including the Product Owner, in agile values, good requirements writing, story decomposition, definition of ready
Clear impediments of your team and ensure risk logs are maintained
Support team-building activities to establish a positive team culture Take care of your team’s compliance with the development process
Closely cooperate with Enterprise Agile Coaches and network with stakeholders
Lead and train how to conduct requirements refinement sessions and manage the backlog
