Assist senior engineers in migrating complex TransactSQL stored procedures to perform equivalent functionality in PostgreSQL while maintaining optimal performance.
Write efficient and maintainable PostgreSQL queries.
Collaborate with existing database engineers and the scrum team to ensure a smooth migration process.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.
Unit test migrated stored procedures to ensure functionality is preserved.
Must-Have:
Proven experience in writing complex SQL queries, particularly for PostgreSQL.
Experience with stored procedure migration methodologies.
Strong understanding of database performance optimization techniques.
Good-to-Have:
Prior experience with Sybase ASE.
Experience working in a scrum development environment.
Familiarity with InSight PACS or similar medical imaging systems.
