Description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to guide and support our agile teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile Scrum methodology, PI Planning, and using project management tools. You will help facilitate the Scrum process, remove obstacles, and ensure the team delivers high-quality products on time. Your leadership will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and an agile mindset across the organization.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, with a strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
Proven experience in PI Planning, managing the planning and execution of Program Increments, and working with multiple teams.
Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and implementing Agile practices across teams.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or similar tools for backlog management and sprint tracking.
Experience in facilitating cross-functional teams, managing risks, and resolving conflicts.
Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and guide teams through complex challenges.
Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in guiding teams towards self-organization, ensuring collaboration and high performance.
Solid understanding of Agile metrics and the ability to use metrics to improve team performance and decision-making.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Support the team in delivering high-quality products on schedule by managing impediments and ensuring effective communication across teams.
Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and ensure successful execution of the PI, aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
Act as a servant leader, coaching teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices to maximize performance and productivity.
Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure user stories and backlog items are well defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment with business goals and project timelines.
Track and report team progress using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and process optimization.
Support the development of high-performance teams by resolving conflicts and facilitating team dynamics.
Help remove obstacles and protect the team from distractions to ensure focus and delivery of high-value work.
Coach and mentor junior Scrum Masters and team members on Agile practices and Scrum ceremonies.
Monitor the team’s performance and ensure appropriate metrics are collected to evaluate progress.
