Requirements:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• .Net, Microsoft SQL, Web Applications (ASP.Net), Windows Services
• AWS hosting & managed services
• Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Source Control and CI/CD systems, such as Git
• Technical documentation, such as coding styles, branching strategies and functional specifications
• Agile development practices and continuous improvement
• Strong spoken & written English language skills
• Highly autonomous, able to operate in a changing enivironment, able to own and drive features
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
• Experience with Python
• Javascript
• Non-relational databases such as Redis or MongoDB
• Cloud data platforms o Data Warehouses, such as Snowflake, Redshift o Data Lakes & Cloud ELT/ETL o Distributed Processing & Querying, such as Spark and Athena
• PDF extraction
Job Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for .Net software developers to enhance, optimise and maintain a number of .Net/SQL-based applications in the Trademarks business, ranging from data ingestion & management through to customer-facing web applications.
Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain a series of .Net applications and data ingestion processes
– Participate in requirements analysis
– Collaborate with internal teams using Scrum, to produce software design and architecture
– Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
– Test and deploy applications and systems
– Improve existing software and optimise performance & stability
– Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
– Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
