Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software Testing Trainer with over 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing and Automation to join our team. This role involves designing and delivering training on various software testing concepts, with a focus on Manual Testing, Java, Selenium, and Python. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a passion for mentoring and helping others succeed.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, with a strong understanding of Manual Testing principles.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation and hands-on experience with Selenium.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners at various skill levels.
• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Preferences:
• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Certification or similar certification in software testing.
• Experience in training and mentoring individuals for industry-recognized certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Software Tester).
• Familiarity with test management and automation tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, and other test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g., collaborating with developers, product managers).
• Prior teaching experience or experience in training programs related to software testing or technical subjects is highly valued.
• Strong experience with manual testing and the ability to effectively transfer knowledge in both manual and automated testing concepts.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules for Manual Testing, Java, Selenium, and Python, tailored to learners of various skill levels.
• Conduct practical sessions using real-world projects and use cases to ensure learners can apply theoretical concepts in real-life scenarios.
• Continuously update and improve training content to incorporate the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.
• Provide personalized feedback, mentoring, and support to students, helping them improve their testing skills and understanding.
• Design quizzes, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Share real-world experiences and insights into the testing landscape to help students understand current industry demands and best practices.
• Work closely with the learning and development team to enhance training materials and ensure the quality and effectiveness of programs.4
