GlobalLogic is looking to hire a Global Account Manager for Automotive Retail Sales. #LI-SC1
Requirements:
- 10-15 years IT sales and consulting experience, demonstrated success in leading sales function at a fast paced environment driving growth in a key GlobalLogic strategic segment: Automotive Retail – Sales, Marketing, Parts, Service, Quality, and Warranty. Hunting and lead development experience desired.
- Preferred experience in selling to the automotive retail segment: OEMs, Dealer Groups (e.g. Penske, Ashbury), Dealer Management Software Providers (Cox, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Tekion), Specialty ISVs (Palantir, et.), Big Box Retail (O Reilly’s, Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.) Hyperscaler experience: AWS, Azure, GCP, SFDC, MS Dynamics. SFDC is especially important.
- Knowledgeable and conversant about automotive retail and associated value chains.
- A track record of developing, coordinating, and deploying cross-corporate resources in pursuit of competitive opportunities.
- Proven track record of new business acquisition and expanding existing accounts
- Experience in prospecting and closing deals
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting roadshows to create awareness of the latest products/solutions/technology/innovations in key markets.
- Engaging with customer before release of RFP for influencing technical specifications
- Act as a consultant for internal and external stakeholders guiding them on what are the market needs and how should their product roadmaps be aligned
- Gain market insights and help shape the solutions being offered.
- Take end-to-end ownership from solution pitching, demo and bid defense.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and create win-win situations while handling customer engagement on the ground.
- Thorough customer interactions, determine the pre and post-sales support required and manage pre-sales deliverables with internal stakeholders.
- Engage the customer at various levels to help manage perceptions Help build higher entry barriers for the competition into the account
- Sales Planning and Review: Develop multi-year global account strategy of a key automotive “Velocity Account. Create the sales plan, the sales pipeline, coordinate with leadership on targets (monthly, quarterly & annual). Create strategies to ensure achievement of sales targets as per the plan.
- Market Development: Leverage SMEs within the domain of the client data engineering as per region as well as be a key contributor to identify business opportunities from events/conferences etc.
- Customer Prospecting and Qualification: Actively work on the pipeline of conversion as per the sales plan, appropriately addresses prospecting and lead generation. S/he will qualify the opportunities and work with their
