Description:
Being part of Hitachi group, design advanced products & services for Electric Utilities including and not limited to Generation/Transmission/Distribution/System/Market Operators/Energy Regulator. Work with Hitachi group companies to create new products & services to help them to improve productivity or create new products for Hitachi customers. Act as a team member in GlobalLogic Energy Centre of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices
Requirements:
Requirements:
BSc / BEng in Electrical Engineering degree. MSc/MEng/DSc/PhD in Power System is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience with electric utility (Generation/Transmission/Distribution/System/Power Operator/Energy Regulator), research institute or industry associated to electric utility domain.
Experience in modelling, operations, planning, configuring, tunning, power system analysis and/or asset management & performance
Experience with functional software specifications, designing, coding, testing, integration, application tuning and delivery as a software vendor or as a customer
Fluent English
Experience preferences:
Experience with tender response analysis, proposal elaboration and technical presentation
Experience with Power System Automation, Protection and Control
Experience with Asset Management & Energy Management System & Distribution Management Systems
Knowledge on data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning applied to power system specific problems
Ability to work in a multi stake holder environment
Excellent communication skills. Ability to produce technical content and present to technical and non-technical audience
Be a trusted advisor on power system & utility issues to internal teams
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide domain expertise for our growing energy-focused portfolio and help deliver high quality digital solutions
- Work directly with clients and help digital product engineering teams to translate high-level business requirements into more detailed instructions
- Participate in energy-domain offerings development, pre-sales, help prepare presentations, and pitch them to client
- Take part in occasional business trips for client meetings and offline events (trade shows, tech talks, exhibitions etc.)
- Contribute to our internal knowledge base and training programs aimed at empowering project teams with required energy domain knowledge
